READING CARDS

Here you have 6 different types of Reading Cards, each one of different levels, in google forms. 

Objective


  • Reading improves your vocabulary and communication
  • Both written and spoken communication abilities can be improved through regular reading.
  • Reading is crucial for a rich academic, professional and personal life.
  • Reading helps in understanding, analysing and applying information gathered.

What you need to do?

Read a card as per the scheduled. Read it thoroughly and understand it well.
Do not hesitate to use a Dictionary or Thesaurus or internet to understand the passage.
Then start answering the questions. Refer to the passage when you are answering the questions.
When you have finished answering all the questions, click on the submit button. You will get the marks immediately. Appreciate yourselves for your efforts.

Module 2
EDITING GRAMMAR WORKSHEETS

Here you will get 6 grammar works sheets to understand grammar better

Objective

  • To build a good grammatical foundation and to be prepared for a formal communication.
  • To integrate form, meaning and use the same in discourse.
  • To self-edit your oral and written creation.

What you need to do?

This is a grammar worksheet. Here you have a short passage. In each line there is an error. You need to spot the wrong word. Now enter both the wrong word and the correction as your answer. Remember it is case-sensitive.

  • To customize a message/ passage to suit the audience.

What you need to do?

This is the most important and the most interesting module. At the end of this module your speaking skills will be automatically upgraded. You have 8 different videos. Each video has different speaking activities. They are well graded. It starts with a simple activity and takes you gradually with ease to the difficult level. Do the activities diligently and judiciously. Be ready with the pause button, in case you need to press. Make as many attempts as you want, try it till perfection.


Module 4
WORKSHOPS

Here you will get ONLINE CLASSES WITH THE MENTOR

Objective

  • To direct and help the speakers.
  • To give virtual motivation, guidance and feedbacks.
  • To help overcome inhibitions.

What you need to do?

This is the crux of the whole course. Here you will meet your mentor online. This is the platform for you to enrich your language skills. 

You will get a lot of opportunities to speak. Make use of each chance you get. Speak without inhibitions. Understand that you have joined the course to learn, and you can learn only if you make attempts by speaking. Do not ever fear criticism as there will be nobody to criticize you. You will get a lot of motivations to speak. For your benefit, your mentor will give you feedbacks so that you can make necessary changes before your next speech. All the help you need, will be available to you. You need to be open and participate actively in the activities which come on a rotation basis to include all the members. You get the benefit of being in a group as you will be exposed to what the others say, and you can learn from them too

Some Instructions
  • Be punctual and come prepared for all the workshops.
  • Join the workshop within 10 minutes from the scheduled time.
  • Take active participation in all the workshop.
  • Keep your microphone switched off when not in use (to avoid background sound) and preferable video switched on.
